Stephanie Italia Ricci was born October 29, 1986. She is a Canadian-American[3] actress. She was famous for her performance as April Carver in the 2014-2015 ABC Family television show Chasing Life, and for being the White House Chief of Staff and Special Advisor Emily Rhodes in the television drama series Designated Survivor from 2016 to 2019.During 2009, Ricci began appearing in American productions that featured minor roles in How I Met Your Mother, House, and Greek. In the same year, she also was a regular character in the role of Sasha in Secret Girlfriend on Comedy Central. She played Maggie Winnock in Unnatural History the Cartoon Network live-action series. She was also featured in the Clean & Clear commercial. Ricci also appeared in Valediction, a short film she made in 2011. Ricci had a small role in Joseph Gordon-Levitt's debut first film as a director Don Jon in 2013.
